Jason Rund

Jason Rund has been working in the construction trade since 1996. He got his start at Norm Wilson & Sons in Los Angeles/Orange County California, starting first as a laborer, working his way up first to a superintendent then project manager.

As a project manager for Norm Wilson & Sons he handled up to 12 jobs at a time and handled such large and complex projects as Honda’s first and only hydrogen vehicle training center in Torrance, CA (finished on time and on budget).

Jason moved to Grand Junction in 2005 and immediately teamed up with Lannie Gill and Rick Barnes, giving the company a combined experience of 75+ years in the construction field. Jason has become known in the industry for his attention to detail, ability to get work completed on time – even in occupied spaces – and finishing every punch list to the complete satisfaction of the client.

Lannie Gill

In Lannie’s 40 plus years in the building trades he started out at the age of 18 as a framing carpenter in Michigan. Later in the Ozark area, Lannie was part owner of a general contracting company, named Heartwood Builders which built custom homes and nursing homes along with many other private and commercial projects.

In 1990 Lannie moved back to the Grand Junction area and has been in the building trades and is part owner of Lannie and Rund.

Rick Barnes

Rick Barnes has been building custom furniture and fine wood work professionally since 1984. Moving to Grand Junction, Colorado in 1989, he continued in the construction and fine woodworking trades, establishing his reputation as a Master Carpenter. Rick is also a certified welder, bringing creativity not only to custom woodwork, but also into custom metal work, such as hand railings, gates, etc. From basic cabinets and countertops, to intricate custom furniture, and millwork, Ricks skills are not only his “job”, but they are his passion.

Teaming up with Lannie Gill and Jason Rund in 2005, they created a well established and qualified team of over 75 years combined experience, becoming one of Western Colorado’s premier builders.
